VIKTOR CHOUCHKOV

DIRECTOR

Viktor Chouchkov has a Master in Directing from the National Film Academy and is a graduate of the High School of Fine Arts in Sofia. He has directed numerous music videos and commercials. His feature film debut ”TILT” has participated in 37 festivals and has won 14 awards, including Best Debut at Raindance, and Best Director at California Independent. It was also box-office #1 in Bulgaria for 4 consecutive weeks, as well as the Bulgarian Oscar entry in 2011.

NEDA MORFOVA

DIRECTOR

Neda Morfova was born in Bulgaria, but she lived in Russia, United States and Great Britain also. She graduated in Film Directing in UK where she directed many fiction shorts. Her last film "MORNING" won the JAMESON SHORT FILM AWARD at the 16th Sofia International Film Festival. Since then she currently works in advertising.

DRAGO SHOLEV

DIRECTOR

Drago Sholev is one of the most talented directors in the field of film and TV commercials making in Bulgaria.He graduated from the National Academy of Theatre and Film Arts, NAFTA (animation & film directing). He was director of more than 300 commercials and music videos. His short film "Before Life, After Death" won Jameson short film award for best Bulgarian short film on 9th Sofia International Film Festival.  "Shelter", his first feature film, was presented at 100 festivals around the world and was bestowed the Grand Prix award of the 15th edition of Sofia Film Fest and has 30 more awards all over the world.

VALERI MILEV

DIRECTOR

Born 03.11.1974 in Sofia, Bulgaria. In 1999 Milev graduate Film and TV directing in New Bulgarian University. So far he directed two feature films and over 300 music videos and commercials.

“I'm an emotional person and I like to put all my energy into what I do. Мy hobbie’s are heavy music, animals, red wine, latin dance.”

STOYAN RADEV

DIRECTOR

Radev has graduated from the National Academy for Theatre and Film Art in 1998.

He was nominated for Best Theatre Director by the Union of Bulgarian Artists and Askeer Academy four times.

In 2013 he directed ‘The Fourth Estate’ – a TV Series which also won him a CIRCOM award for Feature Film.

He has also won the award for best TV Commercial at the FARA Festival five times.

In 2013 he directed his documentary “And Bulgaria is a Giant Mistake too”. During 2013-1994 Stoyan Radev has directed over 300 commercials and music videos for popular local and international brands and Bulgarian singers

IVAILO MINOV

DIRECTOR

After graduating from the London Film Academy in 2007, Ivaylo Minov has gathered rich experience in directing commercial videos. He’s had numerous successful collaborations with advertising agencies such as DDB, Lowe Swing, Leo Burnett, Publicis, Ogilvy & Mather, Huts JWT and Demner, Merlicek & Bergmann. Ivaylo's background is in journalism and theatre, and they have informed his style - based in realism and the search for full-blooded personality. He maintains an active interest in writing for film and in photography.

MARTIN ILIEV

DIRECTOR

Born in 1985, Martin graduated in Film Directing from the National Academy of Theatre and Film Arts.

His portfolio includes several short films, music videos and a gambit of commercials for some of the largest clients in the Balkans; Telenor, Nestle, Mtel, Postbank, Piraeus Bank, Kamenitza, DSK Bank, in addition to many others.

Along with his work in advertising, Martin is currently in pre-production for his next short film and he is also in development of his debut feature “Beetle”.

Martin’s tenure in theatre has influenced his directing style bringing distinguished performances and organic storytelling to his work.

ZORNITSA DIMITROVA

DIRECTOR

Zornitsa is a Bulgarian-born, German-based director. She likes both funny joke punches, as well as emotional and poetic narration. She will soon graduate advertising directing at the Filmacademy in Germany.

DUSHAN DRAKALSKI

DIRECTOR

He has been working as a film director and creative director for the past 10 years.

Dushan started his career back in 1997 as part of S Team Bates Saatchi & Saatchi.

Currently he is regional creative director of New Moment New Ideas.

His work has been appraised at international festivals such as  Cannes, Eurobest, New York festival,

Epica, Golden Drum, Moscow International Advertising  Festival.

EMIL S. ZAKHARIEV

DIRECTOR

Emil became a promo director through his job as the Creative Director at New Moment New Ideas Agency. His directing career spans the last 15 years with successful and awarded projects for clients such as M-tel, BOB, VIVACOM, ZAGORKA and ARIANA, UBB, DSK, Societe Generale, LIDL and NESTLE to name a few. His strong marketing and advertising background allows for deep understanding about the commercial impact, persuasion and engagement of his projects. He is also keen on writing and re-writing scripts until the potential of the idea is fully realized and transferred to the screen.

DEMETRY VASILEV

DIRECTOR

As a filmmaker with strong cinematic approach to storytelling Demetry creates work that is often visually striking. His work reflects his wide range of interests, from dark and bizarre surreal images found in his music videos to sophisticated commercial content.

DIMITAR KOTZEV – SHOSHO

DIRECTOR

Dimitar Kotzev – Shosho is a film director from Bulgaria. His experience includes numerous TV shows, live and recorded concerts, music videos, shorts and TV documetaries. He was artistic director of MM music television. He has two feature films - “Lora from morning till evening” (2011) was based on his own novel. “Monkey” was released in 2016 and won the Audience Award at Sofia International Film Festival as well as numerous other awards at festivals in Asia, Europe and the USA. He has directed commercials for the past 15 years for some of the most popular brands in Bulgaria.

KAMEN KOLAROV

DIRECTOR

Kamen Kolarov was born in 1982 in Sofia. He graduated "Law" at Sofia University “ St. Kliment Ohridski” and then film directing at  NATFA “Kr. Sarafov”. He is the director of three short feature films and two documentaries; over 30 episodes of TV series; advertising and music videos.

YASSEN GRIGOROV

DIRECTOR

Born 16 July1974 in Sevlievo, Yassen completed a course in animated cinema at Kremikovtzi Film Studios. From 1992 to 1995 he studied Comic Book Drawing and Entertaining Arts at the High School of Applied Arts in Angouleme, France.

As of 2004, Yassen Grigorov has been developing whole advertising campaigns as Head of Art in a major international advertising agency, and is also the director of numerous TV ads for leading Bulgarian and world brands. In 2006, he directed a social campaign, Save the Children, in support of disadvantaged children.

ZORAN PETROVSKI

DIRECTOR

Zoran Petrovski was born in Skopje, Macedonia. He graduated the National Academy of Theatre and Film Arts in Sofia, Bulgaria. He is known as a director of many TV commercial. He worked on the biggest TV series in Bulgaria and he won three international first place awards for internet based commercials for AXE, Lenovo, Heineken. In 2015 he receive the award in category “Video Of The Year”.
